LOVER Language

Attended one of this event under Real Love Works 2011. It's night filled with songs, music, laughter and LOVE :) BB has nv been to watch any musicals/play before, so I took this kuku to go see look see look. He thut it's gng to be artsy fartsy, common misconception which most ppl wld hav, but it turned out to be funny and enjoyable for him :D Glad he loves it like I do! The tickets was only $20 per couple. Dirt cheap!! And we got a goodie bag each which includes a set of couple card game which is quite interesting. We are thinking of sharing the game with our couple frens out there :P Next Wala Wala date?

As my heading states LOVER Language. What exactly is LOVER Language? It's not as in saying I LOVE YOU in English, Mandarin, etc, it's about how to communicate between couple. It's one of the take home message from the musical.

Lovey-Dovey. Don't be afraid to show ur love!! It can be small actions like holding ur partner's hand while crossing the road, help ur partner to wipe off the sauce he/she stain at the side of the lips, etc. It's an act of love.

Offer. Not Orgasm huh! I know what u r thinking!!! Offer to help. Like offer to help wash the dishes, offer to massage ur partner after a long tiring day...

Vocalise. None of us are Jean Grey in X-Men. We cannot read other ppl's mind. So speak up!!

Enthusiasm. Be enthu towards ur relationship. Who wld love to face a black, charcoal face everyday? Who wld wan to talk to a dead log? Enthusiasm keeps the r/s exciting and there's always something to look forward to :)

Receive. Why do you need to wait till anniversaries, bdays, Valentine's Day den you do something special or buy gifts for your partner?? Shower ur partner with gifts (love). It need not be something expensive. It could be her favourite ice cream, the pair of soccer boots he's been eyeing... Be observant. He/she will appreciate that ur little gesture.

Well, I know many ppl already know all these. But how many of you are practising it? Be honest here!! Sometimes we are overwhelmed by other stuff in life like work, children, parents... we just 'forgot' how to love our partner. It's nv too late to start speaking in LOVER Language. Maybe u can grab a bottle of massage oil on ur way home today and immerse in an evening of love. Monday may not be so blue after all :)
