Happy Valentine's Day!

It's Valentine's Day again. Last year, it falls on CNY and it was a not-so-happy Vday for me n my den bf. It was terrible+horrible. I had a better Vday being single than with him. Well... I hope this year wld be different... but I'm not pinning my hopes high... as I have a feeling I'm gonna be disappointed.

What do u tink of when ppl mention Vday? Flowers, chocolates, candlelight dinner? This morning, the usu train conductor was there to greet everyone Good Morning. Today she added, "Happy Valentine's Day!! Rem to buy flowers for your special someone!" haha.. I rem blogging about where to buy cheap flowers whereby u can impress ur valentine and at the same time save ur pocket :P This year, I gng to talk abt something more personal ba. It was inspired by a qn I was been asked last night. Do all girls love to receive flowers? Of cos they do! Even though some might say it's a waste of money to buy flowers.... nevertheless, they STILL do love receiving them :)

My first bouquet of flowers was received when I was 15. I went on a school field trip to Malaysia. I got to know this guy during the trip and he gave me a bouquet of pick roses at the end of the trip! Right in front of everyone on board the coach. I felt that if I dun accept the flowers, he'll be so malu. Esp it takes a lot of courage to perform such stunt. Haha... Well, he's nice n took care of me when I got motion sickness on our way up Cameron Highland... but he's wasn't my cup of tea... I was only 15 den!!

4 years later, I received my first bouquet of white lilies. 9 lilies in total. It was a high bouquet and I cant even see the delivery man when I was delivered to my house! Lol~ My den bf was in BMT and ordered the flowers to be sent to me cos he couldn't give them to me on my bday on his own. Sweet isn't he?

When I was 21, I received my first and only bouquet of flowers on Vday. Pink roses again =.= I dun like roses nah... but it still felt sweet inside :P

I got a bouquet of pink roses AGAIN on my 23 bday.... it was from my ex hb. Later he learnt that my fav is white lilies NOT pink roses... haha... I rem once I told him that I wld picture him carrying a bouquet of white lily and wait for me to end work at my office. That very day I told him, he was waiting for me at the exit with a bouquet of white lily. Just one white lily. I asked him why only ONE? He said he'll add one stalk each year. I got a 2 stalk bouquet the following year and then.... no more... it stopped at 2....

2 years ago, I met this guy. I told him I love to receive flowers... den he started to send too many. Until the flowers lost it's meaning... I told him he need not have to send me big bouquet every time n so oft! Ppl always says it's the thut that counts. So even if he juz gave me ONE stalk. I wld be happy. Simplicity is beauty. I always stressed this fact to him. But well, I guess we are of diff freq and we were juz not meant to be.
